I want to believe anything is possible.
I want to believe in the highest good.
I want to believe that things are getting better.

But it is in our hands and in our collective conscious the direction this reality will change

I read an article about the idea of economics and what we SAY it is .. it is. That it isn't a ntur
science governed by things out of our control. That economics is driven
by human behavior, wants and needs. Those parameters are NOT immutable.. they
change and evolve and are transformed over time. They are not static truths
or laws that can never evolve.

So if you choose to sell something to someone based on a need or a desire in order
to make money so you can buy food, shelter etc... those are "Rules" we have agreed
upon.

Granted, we want everyone to do their fair share and we have determined a reasonable
level of "fair". That everyone pitches in .. "works hard" and then we are rewarded by a thing
called money that we can exchange for food, or clothes or shelter.

But there are those who are old, cannot work and we realised we cannot leave them
to rot on the side of the road.. So we find ways of taking care of them.

But I wonder if the value we place on various currencies or "resources" like gold or "faith"
can be altered and shifted.

I have been interested in the barter system... but never felt I had anything I could barter.
But in some ways .. maybe we need to look into systems like that more. Perhaps
they would be more useful.

The only reason there is want.. there is lack.. or there is scarcity.. is because
the system allows folks who perhaps feel the need to take more than they honestly need
and we have determined that we are individuals and no one else can determine how much
I need over you etc.. I may need to own 3 towels while you only need one.

but that is towels.. and the honest real world example is that some DO take far more than they
honestly can use in a lifetime. And it is all based upon their personal "issues"

They may FEEL or BELIEVE they need a HUGE 50 room+ mansion.. no.. make that 3!... plus a
yaght etc.. to fulfill their needs and ease... When perhaps they only need One 10 room huose
OR perhaps 3 , 6 room houses (because they travel frequency).

We all want ease.. and luxury.. We want rest and vaction and indeed we NEED vacation and reest
We all deserve it too!

As we deserve healthcare, food, and decent shelter and clothes.

Some say.. You have a "right" to pursue those things but they will not be GIVEN to you

But I am sure these folks would GIVE clothes to a person if someone was walking around
naked.. as it offended their sensibiilties.

Anyway... the point is.. How do we PERCEIVE our economic reality? What limits or gradnios
ideas do we have about STUFF and wealth and basic needs? And how we get them.

I think we can think outside of the box.

Don't you?

just some of my thoughts

I remember when we traveled as spirit beings.. and it was not complicated at all by... imbalance.. I once heard the whales singing from their distant galaxy and by turning towards their sound we traveled there as if swimming through the deep... there was no concept that we would have to book passage, in which someone would first have to build a passenger ship so that we could travel there.

I also remember wanting to come down and experience a world that was solid.. I don't think when we were drawing up the map we had any concept of how imbalanced everything would appear once we got here, or that we would find ourselves on a quest to fix what we broke (inadvertantly)

It seems to me what happened was some people had a talent for this and some people had a talent for that... I myself have a talent for making jewelry, but I don't have a talent for understanding how my septic tank flows...

so it seems to me we began assigning the tasks of what they did best, and in that way we began bartering for the things that were needed to help us coexist in this place we created.. I believe it was quite a complicated system because the man who could fix the septic tank might not have a passion for exquisite little light catchers hanging from his window, so first we would have to discover what the man who could fix the septic tank needed so we could find someone who wanted our jewels that had what the septic man needed... and so on and so forth until we thought maybe it would be simpler if we just created one monetary exchange system to supply us with our needs while we were living in a 3 dimensional world..

Of course now we are in the time of the great imbalance, where we have forgotten how each and every thought and emotion is so important that a moment of depression or a fit of rage.. or the emotion 'life is unfair' can create the very world in which we live and see our thoughts magnified the the 100drth degree..

Now we think again how to turn this energy to make a better reflection.

for me it boils down to this. this Earthen vessel was given to us with every intstruction we could need on how to exist upon hers and his lovely body. I sit here staring at the trees.. who are clothed in leaves. they are providing for us. at the same time they are being provided for..

same with the whole Earth.... everywhere I look I see a balanced exchange... To me it seems like this is where we should look for the answer, to make our reflection like the Earth makes theirs...

Just some of my thoughts, as I too have thought we have become completely imbalanced in this reflection of a monetary exchange.

here we are inside the dance of our creation.

The solution is simple. We

The solution is simple. We treat one another as family. How does your family divy up resources and responsibilities? Do they keep score? If you had two children and one was severely handicapped while the other was a talented, beautiful genius, would you give the second one more than the first? Would you keep track of everything it cost you to raise them and insist on repayment with interest once they reached majority age? Would you refuse to contribute to your family unless rewarded/threatened? If anyone seriously suggested that your family function this way, wouldn't you think they were nuts? And yet, the monetary economy functions exactly this way. The solution is to realise that we are all one family. Money has definitely got to go. (It's not as though it's even real.) Barter is somewhat less destructive than money because it is limited in scale, but it is still score-keeping. I think it would be much better to transition to a gift economy. Other societies, past and present, have made this work.
Box? What box?
Blessed be.
