Spirals of Life

Life. The continuous change... never asking you whether you want to do something or not... or so we think, but if you stop and listen carefully you will see that you always have a choice.

400 years

It is the first time in nearly 400 years that the winter solstice will coincide with a full moon eclipse...and we're alive to witness it! I just think that is so amazing, amazing enough to post it up.

Sending love

I´ve been away for a while, and I apologize for the gramatical errors in advanced. I´ve been in Mexico for about 2wks now and I´m loving every minute of it, I´ll be back Mon night. I´ve had a quick glance on the site at what has been going on, and what ppl are talking about and it´s made me sad to see some shady things...but I send everyone love and hugs.

Forgiveness

Before I start ranting, I must say that I have missed all of you beautiful evolvers; your stories, ideas, and blogs. It's been a while, and I've been very busy, but logging on really brings a peace to my mind and heart, so thank you all for that.

Nature is speaking

Today I was listening to one of my favorite talk shows, Go Harrison, and he was interviewing Mileece, who is a featured artist at Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, California; Mileece has made it possible for us to hear "plants talk."

Beautiful Film

Any of you had the chance to watch the movie The Men Who Stare at Goats? I had seen the previews for the film a couple of times, and I think that they did a very poor job of showing what it was really all about. Watching the previews you think these are all some nut jobs trying to do something with goats.

Laughing Session

It's amazing to me how much of what happens to you during the day, and the outcomes of so many situations, depends entirely on you. You can take the approach of getting mad, or you can take the approach of just laughing.

About Me

Bio

My name's way too long, even for my drivers license, so Carcar will suffice. This is the first thing I have found that I actually wanted to join, with others that have the same interests as me. It's beautiful to see others who care about what is going on in the world; looking beyond themselves and taking the chance of being different. I love to dream big..."There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve; fear of failure," The Alchemist is my favorite book...I'm an avid reader. The stage is my home, and I leave my drama for the theater. I love Harry Potter and watching The Universe. My mah and sis mean the world to me. I love to laugh and be "weird" as most people like to call it, I just call it being me. I really enjoy people watching. Aaaand...one of my favorite quotes, besides Gandhi's, "Be the change you want to see in the world," comes from A.J. Jacobs, "Unconditional love is an illogical notion, but such a great and powerful one." If this turns out to be as superficial as facebook or myspace I'll just delete it, but I don't think that's the case...I got a good feeling about this one.

Skills and talents
I can bend my pinky back and it looks weird, laughing is something that I can do all day...but I'm pretty sure my stomach wouldn't appreciate that. Performing, makes everything and everyone disappear, it's such a surreal feeling, and I wouldn't trade it in even if you offered me a lifetime supply of hot cheetos with lemon. I can make some of the ugliest faces in the world. I really want to start scrap booking, I have so many pictures! I love to volunteer and do whatever I can, big or small.
