Spirals of Life

Life. The continuous change... never asking you whether you want to do something or not... or so we think, but if you stop and listen carefully you will see that you always have a choice. I haven't logged on in a while, not because I haven't wanted to but because I realized I needed to take time for myself to look inside and figure things out; carve a path in everything that seemed to be mud that was drying all too quickly. When I took the time for myself and I let the chatter quiet down, I noticed that things started to clear up within myself and in my life. Like Christopher Lowman has said to me before, every change starts from within. When you look at the most intricate things in our universe, our very own Milky Way Spiral galaxy, you see that life follows suit... we all spiral in this thing called Life; along the way some lose control, and others learn that we are all headed in the same direction and adjust to the transformation in the spiral. For the past few months my inner thoughts and desires have projected themselves into my waking life. Although the end of last year was hard, and remnants of that pain still have not fully subsided, the conscious effort I make of telling myself "Just for Today..." lets me set up my attitude and goals for the day, and the choice to live and love the present moment. The more I have focused on what I am doing NOW the more I have come to notice that I get things done on time, and stress is nothing more than what I create for myself. I have become aware of a bigger connection, and I feel close and comfortable to everything that surrounds me. It has been interesting to see the synchronicities in everyday life, and how connected we all really are to one another and all that is around us.

I have no idea what the future has in store for me, and I have learned that your plans can change in the blink of an eye, but how you deal with those changes can make all the difference. You have all the power to make what you want of your life and of yourself... it's always that little voice of doubt, YOUR little voice of doubt that makes us stop short. One of my favorite quotes from The Alchemist has kept me pushing more and more, “People are afraid to pursue their most important dreams, because they feel that they don't deserve them, or that they'll be unable to achieve them.” In the end you can be your best friend or your worst enemy, it does not matter how many people support you and cheer you on, if you do not believe in yourself, achieving your goal will seem near to impossible. I know I am here because that is the way that the universe wanted it to be; I am in the right place, at the right time, and with the right people, there is no such thing as coincidence.

You have all moved me and shaped me in ways that you will never know, but I know we are all here because we are constantly searching and taking in all that Life has to offer, and in our journey through this spiral we have come together for an instance, and whether you know it or not we are constantly nudging one another forward.
