About Me

Bio

It's a long circuitous story – I've been, among other things, a switchboard operator (in Babanango!), medical (radiation) physicist, secretary, ergonomist, computer-based courseware developer, NGO communications person, database and internet fundi when the internet was new, and freelance and in-house copy-editor. Also a cyclist, hiker, compulsive reader, equally compulsive web-surfer. I enjoy learning new stuff, exploring consciousness, spending good chunks of time in silence on retreats (usually Christian), and exploring this country and other places when funds allow, which isn't often enough. Am a tad eccentric – ride a yellow Scuta and prefer takkies to heels. (I don't own any heels, come to think of it.) Apart from green building, I have an abiding interest in labyrinths and pilgrimage. And organic gardening. And …
