In Nature We Trust | Nature's Hospital

It’s hard to imagine yourself in a completely
new state of psyche, straying from the mindset
and actions of your everyday repetition; scenes and thoughts
suspended in space as they gravitate towards the meaningful and meaningless.
As my spirit began to soar, comfort washed over my body
with the accompaniment of Aflredo’s icaros softly bringing light to
my darkness.
Don Alfredo, Shipibo Maestro, Ayahuascarian of great vivaciousness,
was the second Peruvian Shaman I visited
upon having awakened to these mystical plant medicines and way of healing.
My past lifestyle had led me to a dark and
rather negative mindset, keeping me locked
into the perception of a mundane world
filled with hopelessness in which I was
left feeling as though there was no purpose.
Instead of feeding on these thoughts I had
made a positive decision to take action and get
healing from doctors that were not available in my home country,
but there was no way to prepare myself for the
journey I was about to endure.
After admiring the beautiful country and
vegetation through a motocar ride and jungle hike
I had reached the center where Alfredo and his family
welcomed me with open arms and warm, love filled smiles.
I got a chance shortly after getting settled in to
sit down with Maestro Alfredo and share with him my intentions,
and as I began to pour out the list of thoughts and feelings racing through my mind.
I could see the deep compassion and uninterrupted
submission Alfredo had towards my words and feelings;
towards me. Before any response or comment expelled from his mouth,
he looked deep into my eyes as if he was listening to the deeper cries
subconsciously hidden behind a veil of confidence, then the
silence broke and I felt like my spirit softly lifted with his voice.
The rituals and ceremonies that composed the next week were
given 100% of my focus and concentration; not only for myself
but out of the respect I had felt for Maestro Alfredo.
A lot of information was accessed and deep subconscious
feelings confronted, but healing is a continuous journey in life,
as change is always a constant.
My time spent with Don Alfredo really opened my eyes
and changed how I perceive the world;
I am forever growing and learning but I know that
my past experience with plant medicines has
promoted a positive lifestyle and has encouraged
an awareness in my consciousness that will assist
with maintaining this optimistic mindset I now have.
I hold a love for Don Alfredo and his family,
a love which is now wide-spread across all human kind
for there is an energy binding us together as one consciousness.
I believe I have seen this energy, felt this energy,
and even experienced sharing this energy through the knowledge
and love of Maestro Alfredo and these Plant Medicines.
