How to create a Meta-Sigil

I've been reading a lot of stuff lately that talks about how much we need change. Because if we don't change then things are going to end up bad. I've definitely gone through my stages of thinking that we needed change, but I'm not so sure anymore. Why do we need change, there are billions of people that don't think we need change. Why is it that these people can go through their lives without thinking about the things that need changing and we couldn't? Well I think that we easily can. There are six billion different perspectives on what reality is, some positive, some negative, some cynical, optimistic, some worried about doomsday and some excited about it. So where are you? What's your perspective on reality, and where we are headed?

What if we could all live in whatever reality we wanted to if we could just believe in it? Wouldn't that be nice? Well I'm fairly convinced that we can live in whatever reality it is that we would like to live in. We just have to become familiar with the art of Meta-sigiling. What is Meta-sigiling you ask? It's a method of creating something so big so powerful that it can change the reality around you that you live in your day to day life. It's a tricky think to do though.

To start with, in my experience, it's better to not involve specifics with other people in this sigiling process. For instance you wouldn't say I want this specific person to be my bf/gf you would maybe outline the type of bf/gf that you would want and then forget about it, knowing that eventually it will happen. With financial gains, just put it out there, and know it will come. You get where I'm going with this? You can outline everything that you want in generic ways and wait for the results, which are usually different than expected. For instance if you are trying to meet a girl, make yourself available to be met, if you're trying to make some money, put some effort into doing so. Sigils just help, they are that extra topping of the sandwich that made it just right. But these minor sigils, we're supposed to be talking about meta-sigils aren't we.

Meta-sigils are what takes this reality creating process from trivial things like money, gf/bf's, and very personal things to changing the world around us. First we need to start with what would we like to see in the world? For instance if you want to think America is the greatest country ever, corporations are one of the best things ever and the economy is getting better all the time, watch fox news. You understand why that it? Because that's the stuff that Fox news pushes to it's audience 24/7, and poles of their audience shows that they believe it. We have the power of choosing what information we want to let in. If you delve into statistics and scientific studies you will find that most things have had both sides of the argument for or against them proven with some “scientific” study. You can find that bottle water is better for you, and you kind find that it's worse for you. You can find that LSD does nothing to your physical body and you can find that it destroys your chromosomes. That electric cars are way better for the environment, or that we still haven't discovered an ideal way to dispose of the batteries so they are actually worse. I personally know different people that believe each different side of each example I just gave, and they all say it's backed with scientific proof. So what does that mean? Are half of the people right and half of the people wrong? I don't think so, I think none of them are right and none of them are wrong. So how is this useful? How is this part of the Meta-sigiling process? Because it shows simultaneously the power of belief, and the flexibility of it. We can use this beliefs to our benefit.

So what next? How do we apply these things. As an example of writing out the reality I would like to see in the world I will use my own idea of it. I would like to be in a reality where everyone thinks for themselves, doesn't look to the government and advertising to do the thinking for them. I would also like my reality to be a fairly green one, where the air, food, and water of the planet are all safe to consume. In my reality we also won't be a materialistic society. The over all happiness will come before our own materialistic needs. No one will be hungry, and everyone will have access to health care. Health care won't depend on money anymore, it will actually be about what seems to work best. We will take a more eastern approach to health care and try to prevent disease and illness rather than just treating it. Everything will be open source. The driving force in the economy will be Time Banks, not currency. We will stop using oil. We will stop using nuclear power, coal power, and biodiesel. We will adopt a lot of Buckminster Fuller's principles as a society. These are all some things that I would like reality to be for me, and I think that they are already happening.

It seems to me that we are at some all time lows in government satisfaction rates. There are also a lot less people these days getting collage degrees, or if they do graduate going into these fields, I think this shows that more people are starting to think got themselves. It's harder than ever to get people to pay attention to advertising with all of the DVR's and internet TV. Can anyone name the ad's on the last website they were just on? Hybrid cars are the trendy thing to do, everyone is trying to drive hybrids these days. The city I live in, Sacramento California has a law that every single yard must have at least one tree in it, this gives it some of the cleanest air in the country. There are over 20 CSA's (consumer supported agriculture) in Sacramento and 5 different farmers markets within a mile from where I live, this gives me access to good, clean food. The food at these farmers markets are significantly cheaper than the same thing at Safeway. The Natural Foods Co-op in Sacramento is constantly sold out of these water bottles that they sell that have filters built in to them. So there are a ton of people drinking clean water. Plus Sacramento already has good water. A good portion of Sacramento's working force are State workers. Because the state of the economy and budget cuts a large number of people in Sacramento have lost their jobs. If state workers haven't lost their jobs then they have suffered hour and pay cuts. We have a 15 percent unemployment rate, that's not counting full timers going to part timers. Because of this every week in our local newspapers you will see articles about bartering systems, or places that are trading things for volunteer work. I've even seen full length articles on how amazing craigslist is. Sacramento is definitely in the process of exploring alternative ways to meet needs than currency, we are starting to leave behind our materialistic tendencies. When it comes to alternative care we also have a strong culture in it. There are a ton of acupuncture studios, we are overloaded with massage therapists and yoga studios. The midwife that me and my fiancee are working with to have our baby is throwing the national convention for midwives. There are three different substantially sized stores that sell a number of different homeopathic medicines, and those are just the ones I know of without researching it at all. So we have a viable culture invested in alternative health care. Ten miles away in Davis they have a company that makes and sells electric cars, so not only can you be driving an electric car, you can also be supporting local business. The massive SMUD complex is largely powered by solar panels. SMUD will also sell you solar panels and buy back energy that you catch, but don't use. Like I said things are already happening, and most of this is examples from just my tiny corner of the world. If you all research your area's I'm sure you will find similar things happening.

So where does this jump from a Belief system to a Meta-sigil. First it is important that you do believe it, that's a very important step. And why not believe it? It's more pleasant than believing the world is coming to an end. Then where this kicks off from personal belief system to meta-sigil is when you put the idea out there for others to be affected by it. I'm currently in the process of doing this myself. Many of you may have read my last blog “Barbelith Lives”, this is my attempt at a meta-sigil. The idea behind this particular one being that we are well on track to evolving to the next “Higher” state of consciousness, that more people are living their lives coming from a place of awareness than ever before, and through the website I'm giving people reasons why this IS happening. There IS an invisible force behind the scenes of what we think reality is pushing us closer and closer to a world where everyone comes from a point of conscious awareness and cares about their impact on the world around them. This is the Reality Tunnel that I live in, things are going to be fine, better than fine, they are going to be great. Barbelith Lives is an attempt at letting you all into this reality with me, it's a very pleasant place. There will be a trickle effect, the more people in a reality tunnel the more people it spreads to. What if everyone that read this or went to www.BarbelithLives.com started believing and participating in this reality tunnel, then what if some of those people decided to put there focus and energy into another project to also act as a meta-sigil and spread this reality tunnel more, and then some of those people spread it more, until finally it reached a tipping point. That tipping point is the beginning of the next part of human history, the part where we take care of each other and all of the life on the planet. The part where slavery is truly gone, the part where everyone is healthy. It starts with us living the reality, then the process of us spreading it, then the end of the meta-sigil and the beginning of that projected reality. Buy your food locally, have your babies with midwives, use water filters and not bottled water, ride your bike or get an electric car, switch to Linux and everything open source that you can, stop being a consumer and start being a producer, live this reality, then spread this reality, then end the current paradigm. Every perception is a gamble, why not gamble on something that feels good?
