In this novel about some members of a world wide psychedelic community that loosly calls itself “the Tribe”, Lorenzo tells the story of a group of young friends who are struggling to make the transition from cubicle-working consumers into beings who are truly human. As one of his characters says, “People living a thousand years from now will remember you, not by name, but as having been part of a new generation of humans. They will remember you as one of the people who helped to build a civilization that should last for yet another thousand years.”

This short audiobook has opened my eyes considerably and has served as one of the key motivating factors in my life at the moment. The main character’s drastic shift from the corporate world into a mystical alternate perception is masterfully told and piqued my interest within the first few lines.

Definitely worth a listen!
