it's time for those again. the last time was in 1989. that time it was accompanied by a bit more of an uplifted feeling. this time it's still to be decided. and yet. they just returned and with good cause.

"We are on a tightrope walk and whichever is more powerful and got more subscribers - that path will open up for us all - safe or not. It's a decision we all take and we will either go here or there. I hope it is the right one we will end up on. We have to ensure that we will. They are interesting times now."

"i haven't been around for a while. i have not even checked in. after finding Evolver way back when, and feeling as having found a place to stay at first, it then lost my attention, my focus and my needs became different. whether this had to do with a decision taken, a re-shift in focus, or just a gut-feeling that it was not needed, not at the time - i don't know.

has it got to do with growing old
or as some would like to say growing up?

up to then it was ok to stand up for things
not only ok to stand up for them but almost a requirement

There was so much I wanted to share and talk about here, inspired by what has been going on over the past few days and weeks - the upheaval shown on Evolver that seem to have left many uneasy, but...

it's been slowly creeping up on me. i should have been aware, i was, but time always flies does it not. and now, it seems as if suddenly it just appeared out of nowhere: decision time.

there was one concept on my mind last night - civil courage.

apparently this term is used in different countries and settings in different ways. for me it means e.g. that when i see injustices, i will step in and try and act against.
