My parents have been actively involved in the democratic party since before my birth. In high school, with the discovery of entheogens, I took it a step further and declared myself a progressive, as I figured no one inside modern day politics would advocate the world that I dreamed, a world in which the right of passage into adulthood necessitated the use of such narcotics.

It starts out with western philosophy, then eastern, then religious perspectives across the board, then it goes into biology, astronomy, physics, then back into neuroscientfic / philosophical notions about the mind.

Accidentally reading the New York Times, I read that this man Kim Jong-un recently showed off all of his military might to his public. He gave a speech saying that his "first, second, and third" priorities were to strengthen the military. Declaring that superiority in military technology was "no longer monopolized by imperialists"

I've been drinking, but I took a roll. I saw and heard and was a part of a lot of negative energy today, but the positive was also very powerful, and I helped add to it (so much dancing with great music and friends).

Was just thinking about how academia doesn't recognize intuition as a source of knowledge. If there was a class that could teach it, it would be philosophy. But philosophy is entirely encompassed by logic, the opposite of intuitive thinking.

The topic is psychedelics. Let's stick with marijuana. You've just ingested a pot brownie and 2 hours in you've found yourself in a state of being, with no attention on any possible actions aside from doing nothing. You have an enlightening experience that involves insight and audio/visual "hallucinations." You jot it down quickly on a piece of paper with a pen. But...
