The root of the problem - fixable?

just thought about it:
I admire and want to be part of the '99%' movement.
Not necessarily the "occupy wall street" movement, but I give them the credit to having kickstarted the whole revolution.
I believe it is a revolution, not only economically, juristically, and politically, but also spiritually.
We as a complex group of living organisms have to check the fact that we're all one big family, and do best when cooperating. Isolated cells of self-gratification-obsessed individuals have planted a complex and sickening, but perhaps curable cancer on the planet. Plants, animals, oceans, people are threatened to distinction if current habits prevail.
Everyone, in particular the 1% addicted to power, needs to find back to love for existence, the need for one another, and the power of connection, and then everything will fall into place.
Any more specific demands will fail because the root of the problem has not been acknowledged. And that root is a lack of perception of unity: to the people around, nature, and the cosmos.
We're just inhabiting a tiny planet after all, but we do share an enormous treasure which needs to be preserved in all its glorious beauty!
Anyone disagreeing with this please get a one way ticket to another planet far away...
Namaste,
Connie
