So I figured it out, and you probably already knew because it really is obvious, I just had to organize my thoughts in this particular way that I'll share with you now.

There's two ways to frame most statements it seems.. positively and negatively.

Example, "I prefer women" and "I do not prefer men"

This idea of preference can also be applied to emotions. In my example of guilt.. the positive statement would be "I prefer acting considerately upon feeling empathetic" the negative statement, "I do not prefer feeling guilty upon inaction under empathetic feelings"

This was confusing in my blog because there is also sense of guilt we feel AFTER THE FACT (sorry I can't figure out how to italicize), which is nothing more than dwelling on past situations, which are inherently outside of the present moment, and therefore obviously not even worth talking about.

So, it isn't that guilt can sometimes be good, it is just sometimes we can get caught up in framing statements in their negative way. Another example of this would be saying "It is a pet peeve of mine that people are ignorant towards other cultures." Under my confusion in the last blog, I might as well have been saying "Are pet peeves good??" Well no, the question should be framed in a positive light saying "I have a love to unite perspectives of other cultures."

Some people may have stronger passions than others towards different things, like I may have a stronger desire towards empathy than my roommate, or others may have a stronger desire to recycle than I do. But when framed in the negative way, it makes analyzing why they're different more complicated.

We all attract ourselves to the things we put positive focus on, some more than others, and that is all already obvious. Negative focus? unnecessary, though it still can attract because it is focus.. and that's obvious too [or should be by now].

yep yep, now i remember, too bad we can forget things, but thats why i write them down

It's good to refresh your thoughts, write and rewrite. It's a good opportunity to start anew. I've gone back a read things I wrote a year ago and thought to myself, "wow that's garbage". So I don't even think anything like I did back then.

One legal translation I think I forgot to mention previously. The word 'guilt' comes from the word guild. So a plea in court... Are you guilty? Well are you guilded?

But that's another topic altogether.
