IcerocketPhysics is wild! I'm taking Physics 2 right now, just got done with Physics 1. I love science. To me it is the truth. You can't argue with the fundamental laws of nature, they just are. But what gets really interesting is what they imply, or what they mean in terms of consciousness. So I just learned that the magnetic field produced by a wire is the same if a wire is curved into a circle as the magnetic field produced by a magnet, if the magnet were to be sitting in the center of where the circle would be. You know how opposites attract and like repels with magnets? Same things going on with the current of electricity through the wire except when the currents are going in opposite directions they repel, and when they are in the same direction is attracts.
It's got me thinking. So there are a couple psychedelic experiences I've had. One is what people call the vortex, the other is called the torus. Well, a vortex exists in and out of a torus, which is created by electromagnetic fields. Another interesting fact about magnetism.. there's a field around everything! As large as around the earth... which as electrons move thru it into the north pole's atmosphere they create the northern lights! But even those individual electrons have magnetic fields around them!
It seems like when we get into shamanic states of mind, we can perceive with our minds eye the electromagnetic fields, or possibly auras around us, and chakras within us. David Wilcox said a few words about the torus shapes and chakras too in a video I watched which I thought was spectacular that he mentioned it.
So my question is what if... because when currents moving in the same direction around a circular wire attract the two wires with magnetic force... that maybe when we align our bodies... we somehow are moving a current within us that attracts each of the "circular wires" within us that come together to form a major torus that produces our trippy vortex experiences!? Who knows but I wanna learn about the physics of consciousness to understand how reality is! Potential to unite the masses I believe.

If you know the geometry of the magnetic field you can get two poles that are the same to attract each other :) It is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. Also where are you taking your classes? I Think MIT has class lectures on the internet for free. I liked the quantum physics ones.

Circuits and Flow

EM was one of my favorite courses in my undergrad too. There's an elegance to it that really just blows you away and sometimes I think, if it were better understood, we could dispense with much of the foolishness of the modern age.
You mention the Northern Lights. Remember that a circuit must always close and note that lightning travels up. Also, electromagnetic anomalies are common leading up to earthquakes and I'm sure you've seen pictures of volcano lightning. See where I'm going with this?
Plasma dynamics are something not often touched on at the undergraduate level, as their theoretical treatment - magnetohydrodynamics - is every bit as intimidating as it sounds, however there is a great deal that can be understood conceptually.
One interesting bit is this: a Birkeland current, which forms in plasmas at virtually all scales (ie fractally) can be thought of as a structure in which current and wire are one. Now, the field of two parallel currents, that is, currents flowing in the same direction, will have a 1/r attractive force (compare to gravity's 1/r^2 attraction, and right THERE you've got the key to the scientific cosmology of the coming age) along their whole length. They will thus quickly approach one another. However, at short ranges, a repulsive force begins to dominate. This has the effect of causing the currents to wrap around one another in a double helix formation, forming in essence a single structure (which, over time, will subdivide itself into ever-finer double-helical currents.)
Oh and where else have we seen a double helix? Ah. And don't even get me started on biophotons.... ;)

I feel that anyone who has a "you can't argue with science laws" mentality is not a true scientist, they are followers, not inspired individuals dedicated to gnosis, discovery, and the mystery of reality.
...they are also inadvertently creating a new religion! *Yikes*
...a religion based on "experimentation" under the false assumption that all variables can be controlled, which they aren't in reality. so in being adhered to by it's unwitting followers- it inadvertantly creates the worlds that are controlled in it's fashion, thus instituting the new laws of the religion! and it seems so far that, anything which goes against it's laws (like nature) is destroyed to allow the new religion it's dominance.
