Evolver blogging expectations

I recenetly realized something about evolver that is a perfect example for communication in general, especially as this evolver type communication becomes far reaching as well as precise.
I've noticed... the blogs I write that get the most groks, are typical evolver things. I would consider this blog a typical evolver thing. I mean it makes sense obviously because things that most people understand are what get you the most groks, it is by deffinition what a grok is, and that is why groks are cool.
But here's the little paradox. Maybe you've noticed it already. The blogs I write that I feel are the most important, that I hope receive the most groks, simply don't. I want them to get groked because that means they'll show up on the highest rated for a few days, and then it can be exposed to a large population. That is what we're doing here, is teaching each other, and learning from each other. It's interesting to see that a lot of times, at least for me, the things I want to teach do not get groked bcecause they aren't as easily understood.
But it is because all of us have these completely unique lives. The things that are reallllly important to us are really only fully comprehended by us. My last two blogs that recieved zero groks are the most important things to me.. .whereas my highest groked blogs were basically "thank you evolver for being awesome!" and "has anyone seen imaginarium of dr. parnassus? heard it was good" haha see those things are'nt as amazing as the deep inner understandings that we try to bring out in other blogs.
So if you've ever written a blog that is your little perfect creation of written words that exactly sums up the way you feel, don't feel bad if it didn't get groked, because it simply is your own journey. The great thing about it all is that all of our unique paths have the same final destination. They are coming together.. directly into themselves.. like at a position in the present moment where your thoughts are my thoughts.. and it's already happening right before your eyes.

funny you should mention this...
...kept thinking about it last night before i fell asleep - i go with your "it's your own journey" as that's what it all boils down to
in the end it will all come together - we are just so eager/used to see results straight away that we can get carried away with wanting to reach out and get the (positive) reactions straight away
but often, especially here on Evolver, it comes round in circles again - the short time i have been here i noticed many ideas/topics to be taken up, and at first not getting any attention but then they come back some time later (when the time is right?) to be at the centre of attention.
nothing is for nothing - all feeds into the bigger reality of it/us all
I wonder if it has something
I wonder if it has something to do with the make up of the Evolver population. People here are at all stages of the journey, but I suspect more and more "beginners" are joining, and they may be more fascinated with ideas/memes/topics that you have already learned of, grokked, then moved past.
Keep thinking and writing and eventually you'll hit on topics that are both important and personal to you, and appreciated by the Evolver masses.
....
We all are micro publishers, and we all are developing a readership. And we are also all readers of other micro-publishers. (you should think of yourself as a professional amateur). So in those blogs that get a lot of groks, I suggest that you try responding to everybody (literally respond to every comment), and putting out friend requests to those you have a connect or exchange with, instead of writing more blogs.
Plus, I've definitely noticed a profusion of thoughtful and well written blogs here lately, and I couldn't possibly comment on them all.
Cheers,
Meade
