Reality is a Mirror
No matter where you go, what you see, and what you do, the only thing you will find is your own shadow. In each passing moment, you are observing a reflection of your being. Every perception, every external situation, every thought, every sound, every person, every tree, every emotion, every slab of concrete is a direct mirror of some aspect of yourself.
In our society we are programmed to deny how truly interconnected our reality is, and through this denial an illusion of separateness is created. We are conditioned to give power to external situations and allow them to rule us, this creates a victim mentality that allows one to believe they are at the whim of forces completely outside of their control. This Victim Mentality is only an illusion , which coerces people into unwittingly giving their personal power away to forces of deception. By continually giving their power away, people end up trapped in these vicious cycles for months, years, and in some cases, their entire lives.
To begin taking responsibility, we must reverse this process. By integrating the ideas of wholeness and unity, we can begin to dissolve the layers of illusion that have separated us from our own innate power. The more we take responsibility for our external reality, the more we meditate and reflect upon our external circumstances, the quicker we will begin to re-discover our ability to manifest reality on a moment to moment basis. By doing this our destiny will come back into our own hands, and our lost power will be returned to us.
Holistic Medicine provides a good example of this concept. Most illness has little to do with physical conditions, and more to do with psychological and emotional patterns and habits as reflected in the context of the environment. When you begin to view the body from a holistic perspective, you begin to see how emotional and mental dysfunctions can easily manifest physical symptoms of illness. Many people who are sick often are perpetually manifesting their own problems over and over again, yet most people lack the awareness to fully realize this, and continue to blame their problems on external forces that our outside of their own power.
When someone experiences intense emotions, such as fear, anger, or sadness, an energetic imbalance occurs within the organism. Until those emotions are fully released or channeled into an appropriate outlet, they will inevitably find an expression within the body, sometimes this even takes the form of physical ailments and disorders. Many people carry these emotions within their body for extended periods of time. The longer the emotion is allowed to fester and take root, the more severe the physical and energetic conditions will become.
Illness can also manifest from unhealthy thought patterns. Thoughts of self hatred, judgment, or any other forms of negative affirmation can easily manifest physical symptoms within the body. The vibration of the thoughts will affect the vibration of your being on the cellular level, and the longer these thought forms are allowed to grow, the greater the manifestation of illness will be.
To truly take full responsibility for ourselves and our reality, we must confront those parts of ourselves which are manifesting negativity into our lives. Most people have several unconscious patterns that have taken deep roots within the subconscious mind as a result of extensive conditioning and past life actions, this is often referred to as the Shadow. We must acknowledge these patterns and allow ourselves to begin the process of healing and purification if we wish to truly transform the negativity in our lives.
It is through deep meditation that we are able to uncover these aspects of our shadow. By finding constructive ways to channel our emotions and energies we can use those negative parts of ourselves as fuel to propel our own evolution. All forms of energy have a purpose, as long as they are being channeled correctly. Many negative manifestations are simply the result of misguided energies. By becoming familiar with our own energy and the energies within us we can learn to balance and harmonize ourselves.
Holistic Medicine is only one example of how we manifest our reality. The same laws determine what we manifest into our lives in the context of our moment to moment experience. We attract different people and situations into our life depending on the energetic state of our being. If you carry deep seeded anger within you that is not being channeled in an appropriate way, it is inevitable that this anger will manifest externally into your life in a detrimental manner. If you consistently project thought forms of love and joy, it is inevitable that you will attract situations and people of a similar resonance.
The more we become aware of how our energy is manifesting the world around us, the more power we will have to manifest our dreams, allowing us to attract what we need into our lives. However, every stick has two ends, and the other end of this stick is that we must also accept a much large sense of responsibility, and realize how much our negative patterns are affecting the world around us. The greater your sense of self-awareness, the more of an affect you will inevitably have on your environment, for better or for worse.
Many Blessings to all beings.
