Life humbles you. The introspection of winter draws something out of me that belies itself when a thaw springs. But summer’s around the corner—the season of reawakening, when you can hear the heat and smell the music.

Freedom of poor choice

The word choice is as much a stake through the heart of dualistic politics as change, barring such scant soundbites as choice of schools, labor, or which third-world nation’s resources to exploit next. However, having the freedom to make and making poor choices is instead their hallmark.
