I'm someone in transformation. I just figured I'd always want to just be a real estate investor and life would be grand. Now, I will always be in real estate because I do love it but I've realized that's it is not my true passion in life and if anyone knows me by now they know I can't just go along doing the normal thing. I'm once again a caterpillar soaking up knowledge and information in preparation for my new path. I intend on breaking out from the cocoon fully ready to take on my life's purpose. In what I deem to be one of my most profound meditations in my life, I came to a realization. I came to realize that I want to be a writer. Specifically a fictional novelist and screenwriter. That and possibly even getting involved in film in some capacity. I've even had a lot of thoughts about taking a leap and getting up on stage doing stand-up comedy. Right now I'm writing my first fictional/sci-fi novel called "The Awakening" and I'm about 70% finished and figure on being done around the end of 2009. We will see where it goes. So, where to go from here? Well I'm jumping right in and working on my first ever screenplay. This one is a Judd Apatow-esque comedy script in the mold of 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, etc. It's not about just comedy though. I want to use different forms of media to talk about things like spirituality, metaphysics, the 2012 phenomenon, human potential, creating affluence, etc. I'm also going back to college for Writing and Film and will more than likely wind up attending a Fine Arts school in the near future. All I know is that right now this feels really really good and it feels like what I should be doing. So I'm running with it. There's a peace in it for me. I just want to be a good husband and a good role model and a great man for my children. WHAT'S THE PURPOSE IF YOU HAVE NO PURPOSE! I have a purpose in life. I wish to assist others in “getting out of the rat race” and getting them to think for themselves and think “outside the box”. We've been trained since early childhood to go to school, get a degree, find a great company to work for for 35 years and retire. I'm sorry, but that sounds horrible! Our education system is set up to what I would equate to a production line, steadily churning out good little worker bees to keep the system going. There is another way, and I want to surround myself with those that have already or are willing to step outside of the norm, take action and create things for themselves. My other purpose in life is to create foundations for abused, abandoned, neglected, under-privileged children to better their lives in any way I can. I have no interest in being “normal”. I choose to live life to it's fullest and making change along the way.
