New Age of Sadhus?

i would like to present to my brothers and sisters something i experience. This experience is grounded in a world-view that might require, for some, a suspension of preconceptions. This world-view comes from the ancient Vedas.
The Vedas give us the idea that human society changes gradually over time (with punctuated intervals of sudden change) through a repeating cycle of four definable and predictable ages, called yugas: Satya, Treta, Dvapara, and Kali. These ages, like the yearly seasons, continue to rotate for as long as the sun maintains its function. The curious among us have some idea about these things already, and for the purpose of this blog i want to give a very brief and general idea about this Vedic perspective.
Satya-yuga, the first age, could be referred to as an age of sadhus, or sages. The population during this age was small and the focus was on completing spiritual development. People lived simply. The Mahabharata records the following statement of Hanuman about this age: 'My dear boy, in the beginning of Satya-yuga the practice of spirituality by human beings was natural and uninterrupted. In that best of times, everyone was a siddha, and therefore transcendental to religiosity. People’s goodness was incorruptible and their vitality did not diminish with age. For this reason that age is called Krita (well made). In that age, humans did not fear the devas, demons, gandharvas, yakshas, rakshasas, or nagas. There was no buying and selling. The Sama, Rg, and Yajur divisions of the Vedas were unnecessary. There was no hard labor, and the necessities of life were made available as if in response to a person’s thoughts. The only goal was ascension. During that age there was no disease to speak of and the senses did not deteriorate. Malice, pride, hypocrisy, discord, ill-will, cunning, fear, misery, envy, and covetousness were impossible to find. Because of this atmosphere, the Supreme Being, the shelter of transcendentalists, was attainable by everyone.’”
Satya-yuga yielded in course of time to the second age, Treta-yuga. By this time the human population had grown, as had the population growth rate, and people started organizing into towns and villages and growing their food. Spiritual values flourished and significant numbers of people moved toward ascension, but the number of people who were looking for material satisfactions increased. There were still many realized souls in circulation, and so this time could be referred to as an age of teachers.
Time eventually brought human society into the third age, Dvapara-yuga. During this age the population grew much greater, the percentage and even the number of realized souls diminished, and spirituality deteriorated considerably. The power and influence of the teachers of Treta-yuga gave way to the power and influence of kings. The idea of the sage-king, or god-king, became an integral part of the human morphogenetic grid. This could be referred to as an age of kings.
The cycle of four ages is now manifesting Kali-yuga (since about 5000 years ago), during which time human society generally falls under the control of criminals who exploit for their own advantage whatever they can gain control over by whatever means. There are so few genuine teachers and so many false teachers that ignorance fogs the whole environment. The power of leadership rests in treachery and hypocrisy rather than in genuine chivalric prowess and integrity. Money rules. If you have it you are respected, if not you are foolish. Justice disappears.
Like many of you, i have come to see, behind the curtain, a relatively small group of these criminals working together, involved in what appears to be a centuries-long effort to gain control over world resources and population. These criminals have accumulated a fair number of witting and unwitting, brown-nosed accomplices who help them with their efforts. Their intellectual minions compete for favor by writing books and articles to show that these criminals are well-meaning stewards who will deliver us into a new world order that will bring peace and prosperity to the world. These wretched creatures believe it is their right to do all this. And their determination seems inexorable.
The problem for them, if i have got this right, is that they unwittingly serve a higher power, and i don’t mean the one they seem to have in mind.
We are well aware of the many predictions and prophecies of various ancient cultures about this time. There is also a Vedic prophecy that we are about to experience an extremely rare occurrence of a special interval within Kali-yuga that will resemble Satya-yuga. It is supposed to begin now and to last around 10,000 years. If this prophecy is valid then we are in for a drastic Earth transformation, similar to what would naturally occur at the end of each Kali-yuga as it passes out of time and the new Satya-yuga arrives. Like winter into spring.
i experience this transformation unfolding now. It calls out to every cell in my body and every nook and cranny of my consciousness, energizing me and driving away fear.
