Just a quick blog before I go to class. I haven't been on this site for a while so I figured I'd stretch my legs. (clears throat). So 2012. I know everyone talks about it and there is a movie about it now but it is a big deal. Kind of like Y2K except Y2K wasn't predicted by the Mayans right? Wasn't 2012 thought of by the Mayan civilization as a time of rebirth and changing in the ways of the world or is it simply the end of their calander? Is it just when the creators of it just said "hey you know what, we have gone far enough into the future, I think I'll take a nap now" Who really knows. I used to be a little freaked out about it but now I'm just kind of like 'whatever' you know. I can't control it or predict what will happen. I just work here so to speak, I don't call the shots. I really feel like it's going to be another Y2K event. Or maybe I hope so. But who really knows. Wow, that only took up five minutes, I still have another ten before class. Hmm. Pancakes are good. Kidding. They are good though. Come December of 2012 when the event is supposed to go down, I am going to treat it like any other day. So what if it doesn't happen? So what if we just wake up the next day and continue our lives as usual. Would that be the end of the world? I would like to see 2012 pass just like every other drummed up world ending crisis in the history of man. But as of today, I'm worried about finals. Take care guys.

pancakes

Pancakes are good ... I'll probably be saying something similar on the morning of December 13th 2012, but maybe instead of pancakes it will be a Clif Bar and a piece of fruit, my usual breakfast. Who has time to make pancakes in the morning?! (except on the weekend maybe, but the 13th is a Thursday). Would the world really end on a Wednesday, right in the middle of the week? Or maybe it's right in the middle of the cosmic week, and we are heading for the intergalactic weekend - I bet there will be pancakes.
