About Me
- Bio
As a volunteer with Post Carbon Institute and 350.org, and past Chair of Sierra Club NYC, Dan has been involved with a variety of urban sustainability projects, one of which has been white roof painting. In 2008, he published a report on how PlaNYC, and NYC sustainability plans, should integrate preparations for energy price and supply volatility - that is, deal with peak oil as well as climate change. At his day job, he promotes a variety of services to NYC businesses. He is part of Sustainable Forest Hills, a Transition Movement initiative. If you want to organize Transition discussions and events in your community, contact him at beyondoilnyc@yahoo.com.
