IcerocketI am currently waiting impatiently for Evolver to launch "Concious Roulette", a clone of Chat Roulette for our community. Annoyed by the delays in getting this live, I went on Chat Roulette for a while tonight and was submitted to such a bleak sequence, a tableau of sad human beings truly desperate to connect - lonely people and bored people staring vacantly and sometimes young men waving their naked penises like sad pennants out of complete alienation of being and gnawing sex hunger.
And yet even in this complete degeneration, I think we can also intuit how near the human multitudes are to closing the circle of conscious awareness, and despite all efforts to remain totally unconscious, to awaken into self-knowledge. It is as if, against their own will, people - literally everybody on earth perhaps - is in imminent danger of becoming awake to and aware of the evolutionary impulse. Even the human's stupidest and most futile acts of nihilism and total loss of any meaning or referent are leading us in this direction.
We are on the verge of realizing that "I am another yourself," whoever you are, that separation is a total illusion, and therefore anything we do to the earth or to any person or creature or natural landmark on it is something we are also doing to ourselves. This realization is becoming painfully unavoidable.
So from complete desacralization and vacuity, the circle of self awareness (the oroborus eating its own tail) suddenly flips to recognize the sanctity of all existence, and the ever-present origin of the sacred source, outside of any measurement of time we can possibly make or imagine.
Or of course it is highly likely I am totally wrong.
While I fear it, I also can't wait until the Internet ends and the cell phones stop, and we are forced to fully engage with unmediated being once again, 24-7. Will that happen to everyone in our lifetime due to solar flares shorting out the electromagnetic grid? Or is it going to be an individual choice?
By the way if you have other ideas for what we should call our chat besides "Conscious Roulette", please let me know.

Pardon me, but you almost make it sound like it's a bad thing, as if complete chaos would ensue and that no one would know what to do or some other tragic ending. However, it seems as though we are divinely guided after all and that this whole thing, this whole apocalypse, will unfold as perfectly as God intended. I can see being in danger if you're not prepared either on the physical plane, though mostly on the spiritual plane, but if people don't want to wake up and take their life seriously then there's not much that can be done for them and anyway...can't save em' all. And we're only evolving towards something completely fantastic and packed with love and life anyway and we the aware will be able to handle it all I'm sure, why wouldn't we be able to? Some of us need to stick around don't we? So maybe only there you are wrong, unless I'm taking it wrong, which I could be since mercury is going retrograde tomorrow.
Is there really penis waving? That does sound dreary indeed. Perhaps you should tell that guy to put it back in his pants and then to get a hobby, like going for walks so that he can run into a live person so that one day he can do something a little more productive and fun with it than just wave it around to empty space. Seems as though chat Roulette would be a good place to avoid.

Tell me you guys are working on a Kaltura(.org) add-on and I'll buy some chat-wankers free membership to the club myself. Could you look someone in the eye (solitaire or triplicate) and pray 'wakeup'? Could you say it without snapping into dreamstate yourself?

I don't personally like "Conscious Roulette" because "roulette" makes me think of blowing brains out, and I don't like the idea of randomly connecting with something that could blow out my conscious brains. But maybe that's just my fear. :)
"SynchroLink" was something I thought of because instead of roulette, which implies randomness, I was thinking of "synchronicity," which is what randomness really is anyhow. "SynchroLink" doesn't really convey a chat roulette type thing too strongly, though, but I'm out of ideas at the moment.

Also i really like conscious roulette and that is genuis! It would be really good for us haha
also yea man "danger" i mean, it can all be very easy, and it's really all dependent on what we focus on, but here's the catch. ITS YOUR JOB to get people aware of all of this, and my job too, and everyone elses job too... we literally have a position now to make it known to people whats going on so they don't brush it aside and then stand up in the middle of reading a newspaper to realize their consciousness is combining with their ex wife haha
but im optimistic because i think we have time, i think we have help, and we already know it, so we'll be in the right place at the right time and we can get everyone to come with us, imagine what kind of party that will be

It is not that Conscious Roulette is not an interesting name describing the process humanity shifting and direction however sounds restricted in meaning and refers to a "function complex" or partial personality.
The Evolver movement should consider more acceptance and comprehension. Embracing this fact could be choosing a name that offers unity and open ideal environment, cooperation and teamwork. How about “Conscious Synergy” or “Psych Synergy”. What ever the outcome I know it will a great name.

Synergy is where different entities cooperate advantageously for a final outcome.

daniel, agreed. while many might consider this "impulse to evolution" (as you put it) exclusive, and only available to the free minds, the progressives, I feel it creeping on a different paradigm. It's everywhere, we are all coming out of our Heidegger-ian amnesia, kicking, screaming, singing and dancing. Regardless of how well we know Vedic medicine, or how familiar we are with Mayan customs, or if we've astral projected our own asses into oblivion, the dream is ending, and we will all wake up.

On the other hand, why bring about one more hall of mirrors?

Meanwhile, the very real possibility of technological evaporation can always be (re)visited at the personal level. Although medals are not being abundantly minted for this sort of instigation.
Notwithstanding, while being online, it is perhaps useful to perceive the urgency of being on-the-line as well.

The chat platform would be an excellent way for an international community to have meetings and discussions where we can brain storm about expanding awareness as well as enhancing the purpose of spores...I kinda like the names of:

Whenever I used to say "coincidence" my friend Michael Losier, who wrote the book Law of Attraction would encourage me to say serendipitous instead.
I love the idea of this conscious roulette, it's really brilliant. It gives us the chance to "allow".
Especially if we are really feeling in alignment and like there is "something" out there for us, but don't know what.

chat roulette is hilareous! so many fun sights to behold...
it would be so cool if this site had a similar kind of thing! i just came across evolver through watching "Retelling the Past, Reimagining the Future : A 2012 Dialogue with Daniel Pinchbeck & Graham Hancock" on youtube.
yeah, i would suggest against putting "roulette" in the title. maybe it would show up on google next to chat roulette and people will be like "ooh yeahh.... i'm conscious.... of the fact that my penis wants to be broadcasted to you". or something. maybe not.
