As an ex-sailor and a dare i say it "tourist" i have been to many part of the world. while out in Mexico i read dan pinchbeck's 2012 and although i found myself fighting against every word in his twisted adventure i also on reflection discovered that every time i had a chance to debate it with any one who would listen to my crazied rants, i jumped at the chance, my girlfriend bearing the brunt of it of course. Although some aspects of it i didnt agree with or could possibly fathom, due to my lack of experience in the narcotics field. I found myself almost obsessed with the idea of changes in the intire world at 2012. the ideas of different realities and the transendance of the human race. A transendance to peace that would purify and wash clean all the greed and ill manners that plagues every street in every city in the world.

While in Mexico and while reading the book i took a few trips to some of the sights to get a real sence of it all and to see if i could see if i could un mask any mystery. Sadly my lack of knowledge in this area was my down fall but you do have a fresh understanding to how theses people lived and how clever they were.

At one site i ask my tour guide about Quetzalcoatl and he simply replied "oh you mean his return, well the aztecs wonder that untill cortes"

Living in england i have visited stone henge many times and although it is an omious sight and the mystery of why theses people decided to retreave the stone from wales using only the basic of equipment is still any ones quess. you have got to wonder maybe they just had alot of time on there hands and the welsh owed them a favour but remains to us as a monument to there achievals but really is a private joke that got out of hand. who knows!
