Ode to Night 6

Mysterious poisons crisscross our skies
The footprints of which escape our eyes

Plumes of toxins spring from the sea
Where the Gulf Stream goes affects everybody

A tectonic plate slips and slides
While an Evil Sorcerer perpetually hides

A wicked Master that does have a source
A one-track mind, destruction its course

The wise, the dim, the meek and the brave
Have a Hitler to “blame” and a Jesus to “save”

And as time is compressed, an end is in sight
We cling to routines, convinced they are “right”

What is a “right” for one is a “wrong” for another
Controlled and divided, we lash out at our brother

Press forward with plans, entranced by Duality
Disconnected from Spirit and sovereign Reality

But the Truth always beckons, from deep in our dreams
Forever impinging, “is life what it seems?”

The “choice” has been seen in science and art
A hard look in the mirror is a good place to start

Remember to see the “bad” with the “good”
Both sides, they have brought you to the places they should

It’s both that create your lessons to learn
Your Lovers and Demons and Truths to discern

A small fractal story of “subjective me”
Holds such little impact on “all that we see”

Go challenge the boundaries of what you’ve been taught
And extract the Gold that Alchemists sought

Then you’ll discover, a power within
That has nothing to do with “Original Sin”

“From Chaos comes Order”, this much is true
The Creator of which, is not Them; it is You
