A day late and far too many dollars short, that's why we're all here right?

It struck me when wanting to write this that my own individual failing is quite like the apocalyptic meaning of the 2012 transition. I missed the blog like we missed the bus, but then we realize it's not too late. Always a beginning, never an end; never a sinning, never too late.

The revelation that is any apocalypse is a mere moment of change, a destruction of an image in favor of another. All connected to words and language and symbols and la da da da, but what MATTERS is what we decide. Sadly, where we are headed words don't reply, or at least I fail in Mattering these words today.

Regardless, we play. We know we are late, late, late for the 2012 date, and really what do we know? All we know is that realistically we need to believe it's all on us to bring the best possible day. We should keep playing as more celebrating and love is the way, but always remember it is not too late and never will be. I know that once December 22, 2012 comes and nothing has changed I'll be quite bummed, but I'm certainly only going to expect a drastic change to occur if it has been a process beginning to bloom. We and others are all part of this process, but community, communion, and communi - key -tion are the only way it can begin. The only message I really have to try and reinforce to those I see on this site and elsewhere, including myself, is to always stay grounded and do as much as you can in your own little world. The potential to change one's own surrounding community in an amazingly rapid time is astounding, and I feel that some of these changes can come quite easily through more communi - key - tion, hence the connection and participation from us all on this lovely website.

OK, got my post for the week, to help me with my discipline, and a bit preacherish perhaps yes maybe, and not as fun, but off we go. like the rabbit...
