Choosing Your Own System

With the world in such a transformative and uncertain state, it's time for every single individual to stand back and take a good hard look at the government of their country and decide whether they want to continue being led astray and played for fools, or take the road less travelled and diverge from the herd on a spiritual and educational journey into objective truth and loving intent.
The sideshow of modern democracy is playing out the last stages of it's dazzling spectacle and there still seems to be a significant majority of people who are refusing to see the facts lying grotesque and naked in front of them.
Happy to gobble up the fictitious babble that pours out the mouth of deceiving politicians under the disguise of policy and promise.
Content with Z-Grade media oozing out of every device in their "owned" home. Praising celebrities to "false idol" status whilst happily accepting of their liberties being taken secretly away, one by one.
Yet they have such infinite and unbound potential waiting in the core of their being.
Preying on the first glimpse of an opportunity to open the mind and rip down the years of conditioned barriers that have shackled them to mediocrity since before they knew.
It's our job to create those moments of conscious vulnerability with ideas and truths that challenge the minds of our sleeping brothers and sisters.
We have to achieve our goals with peaceful and truthful attack, forcing the flow of artistic and intellectual activity beyonds it's comfort zone.
It's everyones responsibility to start their connection to the collective unconscious so that we may become the answer to all our own problems.

Breaking the illusion
An intelligent and well worded post; and you are so correct. The majority of people choose to remain in the dark, and in this fantasy that they live in a democracy, (where the vote is an illusion) instead of reality, which is a corporate totalitarian state that provides the clearing house of approved politicians that they will allow to be placed. These international corporate conglomerates, their owned and operated media: CNN, NBC, ABC, and FOX, and their affiliates, along with the World Bank and the IMF, are the puppet masters for every single one of our politicians. Under this system; the status quo will remain, with no change on the horizon. As I've said on many of my comments on this site, this system cannot be changed; WE as a society must do the changing ourselves, evolve, and make this system obsolete. As you pointed out; it is our job and our responsibility to create this awakening, and to present an alternative to this fiasco that we presently live under.
Inner & Outer Connection is Needed
I agree, well said. Could you elaborate on starting the "connection to the collective unconscious so that we may become the answer to all our own problems"? Are you referring to teaching like that found in the book "Maximize Your Potential Through the Power of Your Subconscious Mind" by Joseph Murphy?
Speaking of empowering connections, our connection to the Earth is the crucial element in being able to live sovereign/natural/uncorrupted lives, and that requires land reform via a nonviolent revolution. This is explained in more depth in the top 2 posts here: http://colindonoghue.wordpress.com/
that's all good, but...
Can you be more specific? I agree Intuition is important, but how exactly does that help us take "responsibility for our own impact on the planet"?
The only way to take such responsibility and end our dependence on corporations & government, on the physical level at least, is by addressing the issue of land control and monetary-slavery, as I brought up before, points ignored apparently.
precisely true
It is our job to do just that. To look for opportunities to challenge and enlighten. Just holding the intention to do it, will bring us into contact with those who are opening and wanting something new. We have to find ways to recognize them and to be artful in how we connect. Simultaneous to all of this, we have to continue to develop our own deep connection to the infinite and unbound potential within.
satyagrahi makes a great point, too. In order for any of that to be real, it has to be applied in its specificity to something that is tangible in the world. It feels to me like each of us is to choose an arena - an area of focus - where we take this emerging awareness and bring it to bear on the illusion.
I personally am focused on monetary reform, because for me that feels like the biggest obstacle to the emerging New World. And satyagrahi is helping me to understand the issue of land ownership and how key it is to be able to be on the land and reconnect to Earth if we are to fully flower in our divinity. It makes me think of the Essenes - I haven't thought of them in years, but this was their focus. To be in total harmony with Earth as the path to their transcendent nature.
Anyhow, thanks Tony. I feel a great resonance with your words here. I appreciate them and your presence. Peace to you.
