Tattoo Session: Dan

Om Nama Shivaya!

This was a final tattoo session that I did on Dan before I left Philly for Boulder. Dan is probably the most tattoo work I have done on one person. He has a half-leg sleeve, a full backpiece, and two upper-arm half-sleeves. I started tattooing Dan about four years ago and we almost instantly became friends. We often, in great lengths, discussed a myriad of topics Politics, Religion, Philosophy, as well as the disfunction of the Human Condition and how tattoo's could serve as a spiritual practice, while I'm tattooing him... it helps the time go by, especially because he has over 100 hours logged in. When I contemplate both Dan and I's transformation over the past few years it blows my mind and I see how the Sacred Tattoo has the ability to transform consciousness. I am grateful for Dan's patronage and continued friendship. Many thanks!
