The Earth is undergoing the largest mass extinction since the Late Cretaceous period some 65 million years ago. Every ecosystem is being stressed beyond its capacity, at the same time every area of human society is undergoing chronic systematic decay and disintegration, collapsing under its own inelegance and hubris.
This post relates to an amateur documentary I produced called Syzygy. You can watch it on Youtube. I am looking primarily at the basic fault in our society and the schism between Self and Other, Mind and Body, Logos vs Mythos etc. I have attached a short video at the end of this post to give a glimpse of where my ideas are at.
Art captivates, art inspires, art portrays. As Terence McKenna once said "put the art pedal to the metal". I use "art" in the purest sense of the word as a form of creative expression - music, poetry, dance etc.
