I'd like to say I believe all life is very precious, I was very sad when the BP oil leak happened in the gulf of mexico. I knew that the ecosystem would be destroyed. I thought that the people who were responsible should have action taken against them. When companies act in a way that destroys life on the planet I think it is heart breaking.

I feel that we are all connected in some way or another. Not just humans but animals as well. My family has 2 cats and 2 dogs. I love them very much. I believe that in a rural city life people get pets because it brings them that much closer to nature. It brings us closer to our true selves. The animals that we truly are. I do not mean that term in a negative way. we are of the human species from the animal kingdom.

We think that we are above the rest of the animal kingdom, we have pushed our brother's away. People think I am weird sometimes... In the spring/summer/fall there are often deer to be seen within certain nature reserves within my city. There is a university and a college, often you can see deer at both because the fields are full of healthy grass and they want to eat. I sometimes just stop and observe them, they realize I am doing so and often look up at me. I will say to other people walking along "hey look, some deer!" I get strange looks. I greatly enjoy watching the deer, it makes me feel a greater connection to the planet. Everyones true mother earth.

When I was in Boy scouts we would never chop down tree's for wood, we always scoured the brush for dead fall. I think the destruction of plants and trees is equally as saddening as seeing a animal die.

To me there are three types of deaths. A sacred death such as killing something for food, you are honoring your own life (or whomever gets to partake in the feast) at the expense of another. A natural death such as dying of old age or an illness. Then there is the third type of death. One of which should not happen. A disturbing death, The life force of a human or animal is taken either for the fun of it, convenience or ill planning on the part of corporations.

In terms of corporations accidentally killing many animals just because they did not plan or think an animal would go where they dumped their toxic waste. I think those people should be stripped down of all worldly possessions and stick them in the middle of an uninhabited forest and let a bear or wolf eat them. Let them serve a positive impact on the food chain instead of a detrimental one.

Life is precious

but for me it's a bit more, it is scared as well. For me precious means it's delicate, fragile, and is valuable and needs to be treated with care. Sacred for me means it's divine, referent and holy and as such need to be treated with the utmost respect.

Yeah.

I know what sacred means. I believe you should only kill something as food. It should be treated with the utmost respect because one life is being taken so you can live. Thats a very powerful thing to me.
