Hello fellow Evolvers!

As I am new here, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Eric Geoffrey, and I am thrilled to have discovered this community of adventurous souls.

About me ~ I discovered early on in my path that I could translate my deep shamanic journeys into musical soundscapes, often times playing in real time while the journey itself was unfolding. These pieces have became roadmaps along the way of my personal evolution. There were always there to remind me, or empower me, or to serve as grounding presence. Over the last 20 some years I have built up quite a catalog of such pieces, but I have always kept them close to home, never really quite knowing just what to do with them other than using them for my own evolution. Through the ongoing and insistent encouragement of a close circle of friends, I am now realizing that these are pieces that can and should be shared, so I am beginning to organize them and prepare them for release.

Empowering discovery number 2 was that whenever I shared any of the music born through this nexus in sacred or otherwise intentional space with other awakening souls, a resonant and powerfully energizing field quickly became manifest, and this field was exponentially compounded when more than two were gathered together to participate. It also didn't seem to matter much if I was playing live, or if we were listening back to a recording, though there was an additional energetic component present when I was playing in real time. But throughout there was the recognition that it felt like there was somehow information, or some form of coherence, encoded or embedded within some of these pieces, existing beyond the rational word using mind, but inviting some form of what feels like participation in a larger activation of purposefulness on a grand scale.

I am not saying that all of these pieces contain that, or anything truly objective for that matter, but they all seem to point in a similar direction, and that direction is most certainly one towards greater conscious evolution. And as such, I would like to humbly offer them up for what I can only hope is your own personal evolutionary stimulation, encouragement, and empowerment.

I would also like to put it out there that I am always open to collaboration, and to make these pieces available for remixing, etc. I just ask that you please get in touch and let me know what's cookin! It would also feel right and proper to state clearly that any and all support, financial, emotional, energetic, or what have you is deeply and sincerely appreciated.

If you like what you hear, please consider sharing it through your networks, signing up for my mailing list, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the opportunity to share!

Everything is used to create music, when playing! Grooves are made of the sole basis of the universe...Say, buddy! Write?

So true Doc!

So true. I always get inspired when listening deeply while out doors ~ there are grooves everywhere. I spend as much time as I can in the tops of old trees (while of course respecting all of the other forms of life that dwell up there) and the rhythms are wildly compelling. The thing is, the time scale is often so different, and so much slower than we are accustomed to "grooving" to, or unfolds in such a different sense of time than our human reference that it becomes the creative challenge to translate it into a human reference.

I love that! I have a couple of pieces that I will release soon that play with this idea of time moving so much slower, yet with definite groove, than we are used to. Stay tuned!

Welcome

I too love hanging out in the treetops. The redwoods are the best but the pines here in the sierra nevada's ain't bad at all. The owls, coyotes, hawks, woodpeckers(tappin the beat), blue jays, crows and quail are wonderful music for my soul. Glad to have you here. K.
