Music as Magic, Magic as Music

I am awakening to the empowering perspective that my making music is akin to true magic. I create a piece of music out of nothing, and offer it to the world. There exists a thing of beauty where none existed before. Creation = magic.

They say that magic is the power of your will focused through the lens of intent to produce a desired result. The organization of energy flowing purposefully and aligned with your heart. The music that I am discovering as a direct result of opening to the evolutionary perspective feels like the same process. I take the energies of my experience and the power of my emotional landscape and transform them into sound. I experience this music as a direct reflection of the beauty inherent in creation and it is something that I can listen to repeatedly and experience being uplifted and empowered through it's sounds.

The more music that I make, the more beauty there is in the world that was not there before. I experience this as beginning to fulfill the hope that I may leave this place a little better for my having been.
