Om Shan Tea

The EvLA team had the pleasure of hosting Om Shan Tea Los Angeles proprietor Adam Yasmin for a tea ceremony at last week's Psychedelics Spore. Adam's portable teahouse created the perfect inviting space to become centered in the midst of the event and afterparty. The organic fermented tea, served with dried persimmons, almonds,and banana chips, was a truly healthful indulgence. And what was most complementary to the spore is the way people lingered to socialize around the boomerang-shaped table. It's not news that snacks unite people, but Adam and Om Shan Tea offered the Evolver community a unique space and rich organic fare.

Om Shan Tea has a tea house operating in San Francisco; Adam is the Los Angeles satellite, selling and serving tea at places like Temple of Visions and Evolver Venice's 99 High Art Gallery, and eventually operating a tea house in LA. I highly recommend Om Shan Tea's donation-funded service to any event-holder, and hope to see an Om Shan Tea LA in the hear future. Cheers to the conscious community : )
