Wikileaks is a democratic media outlet as is no other. It releases documents and awakens the masses to many a hidden agenda and crime by the institutions we place trust in. The people with power in this country are covering up this release and their influence now stretches towards the corporations. Pressure has stopped Amazon from hosting WikiLeaks, and now other corporations are following suit, denying Wikileaks a dns name and attacking websites funneling its information.

What is happening to our world? When will people start to stand up to this blatant black out of information and start to crackdown on these criminals and open up the doors for true change.

I think we can all agree that Corporations and the government have a mutual relationship in many respects, but which one do you believe has more power over the other?

Doesn't it seem odd,

that just a few short years ago, the media was ignoring much evidence of government malfeasance and going along with the government/corporate line about Iraq and Afghanistan?

When the bankers cried out in 2008 that they needed help from the public, the corporate media outlets gave much more attention to the impact the failure of banks could have rather than reporting the direct evidence of how banks have been defrauding governments and investors and people all over the world for years.

That the media is now publicizing the supposed 'leaks' that Wikileaks has been doling out in episodes is therefore now not so convincing to me that this 'story' is really going to reveal anything beyond what 'they' wish us to focus upon. I do not feel it is negative to point out that the media powers wish for us to be focused on the Wikileaks thing. This is why it is the main story on every major outlet, no other reason.

I think it is important to keep in mind that the reason they keep this on the headlines is reason to believe that our attention should be elsewhere, given the historical experience we've made with the media.

Wikileaks is also a corporation and their method of releasing the information as they have so far does not fill me with confidence that there is only one agenda being expressed on their part.

Peace,
Steve
