Not only did I root for the Navi people in Avatar, I was happy to see the militaristic humans go down in flames, even though I think of myself as a peace-loving individual. Apparently, people all over the world are also cheering on the Native inhabitants of Pandora and making this movie the blockbuster phenomenon of our time.

If you want a far better and a far different world, you need to stop thinking like an American and start thinking and acting in the interests of humanity. A whole movement has been linked to and lashed to this whole political dynamic.
