no beckoning of angels or demons or aliens will resolve OUR issues and it is just a stumbling block we have placed before ourselves, and the only real reason any of this has occurred is to put us to the point where we realize that my first statement is truth
a truly righteous higher power would want us to sustain effectively not worship

I'm not too sure about that. So many people have different ideas about what is morally and ethically right/necessary. There's so much disagreement over what the "problems" are.
What if there's something we're not seeing?
