Is Our Existence a Conspiracy?

Is the world as we know it an enormous conspiracy? Its crazy, I know, but don't leave me yet. Surely some, if not most of you, are aware of near death experiences (or should it be after clinical death experiences?). If you are not and even if you are, I've provided a link to a very interesting documentary on NDE's at the bottom. People who have had such experiences often say that they have been awakened; they see the unity amongst everything and above all that there is a higher level of existence. If the law of superposition (particles in two different places at the same time or information in two different states at the same time) can occur within our physical brains, why can it not occur on a much larger, possibly a conscious, scale? If the mind is truly separate from the brain, then isn't the concept of a "matrix" quite possible? Ideas, products, fads, etc. have been known to be transmitted and advertised through movies. Only just recently the highest grossing film of all time, Avatar, has displayed this concept. Maybe December 21, 2012 will be a mass conscious awakening to the fact that we are indeed Avatars! That would certainly dramatically alter the course of humanity, which I think most of us can agree needs to happen soon. Or maybe it will be just another day. Does anyone really know for sure? In my belief system one thing is for certain, we are here for a purpose. What purpose I do not know. With all the relatively fundamental questions left unanswered in our world today I do not intend to tackle one of the largest mystery humans have faced.

My intention is simply to stimulate some thinking outside the box. What could we achieve with an awakened population? Undoubtedly the effect would be monumental. What is the next step when 'whats mine is yours and ours is theirs' is a world wide moral? End worldwide hunger? World peace? Come to think of it, war has been an accepted (for the most part) and ongoing event since I was born. Is that not absurd?! Call me a conspirator but this is beginning to sound a bit Orwellian! But wait... down the rabbit hole I go. Do not let yourselves get caught up in the countless conspiracies out there, as I often do, regardless of their validity. This centers around negative thinking. Our mentality affects our future in one way or another. Yes. it is good too be knowledgeable of government corruption, tainted food/water, current events, etc. but we must remain positive, because a positive mentality will only result in a positive outcome. And if this "reality" we call life is in fact part of a higher matrix, the only thing suppressing a worldwide revolution is knowledge of it.

So for those of you who haven't quite jumped outside the box yet, it might be worth considering. For those of you who have, I thank you for keeping an open mind. It is possible, even probable, that the answer to the age old question is inconceivable... for now. As technology improves at an exponential rate, who can say the possibilities that our future may hold?
