three premises of a Solution

PREMISES
i have held a few basic premises had for a long time in pursuing what came to be the darkness conjecture.

  1. indigenous culture is vastly superior to industrial culture and is to be taken as a model and minimal standard for any proposal for action. this fairly quickly led to the idea of:

the darkness conjecture

1. Civilized people suffer inordinately from meaninglessness, confusion, self-hatred, disease, sociopathy, and ecocide.
2. These conditions result from an impaired consciousness, one traumatized into a round-the-clock fixation on gross reality and a denial of subtle reality (the dreamworld).

About Me

Bio

Everything I have done since age 16 has been integrated to the purpose of precisely answering a single question: Why, at age 15, was I suddenly overcome by a state of continuous rapture in the knowledge that life is sublime, a state which persisted in me for three months solid, regardless of circumstances, but which then faded into the grey, empty conflict of modern survival? //

This quest has accentuated my tendencies to intensity, paranoia, and brilliance. And it has left me eccentric, broke—and nearly broken—and too incisive for my own good. It doesn't matter. Over Christmas, I found my answer (http://andrewdurham.com).

//

Now it is my function in life to test these findings, which may well contain the solution to every problem we face in this culture, both individually and collectively. Should the test succeed (as did a similar one 18 years ago), then, as Neo said, what is possible truly knows no rules or controls, no borders or boundaries.

//

note: regarding the Evolver subtitle, I don't view Earth as "our" world, nor do I wish to change it. I view these as strictly civilized ideas that will replicate The Problem. Myself, I wish to discover the world, which is fine as it is. We are ill, but we're basically fine, too. Just sayin.
