Our mission is to transcribe a "public domain" 2 book set. Entitled "Inscripcoes E Tradicoes Da America Prehistorica" by Bernardo De Azevedo Da Silva Ramos. Original publication dates Volume 1 (1930) Volume II (1939), published abroad without U.S. publication.... Preserving archival history of ancient living and culture. 2 books, over 450 pages each. Mainly in Brazilian Portuguese, however detailing some in over 5 other languages from around the world. Documenting ancient pictographs and petroglyphs for the future use of generations to come. First we will translate the text base of the book into English so we may best understand what Mr. Ramos was stating in his over 30 years of research of ancient writings and sacred sites. We will digitally photograph all pages, and then edit for re publication. We will then take the printed version of the High Resolution images to Brazil and meet with friends and local indigenous peoples to assist us with interpreting the images and infomation, we are currently consulting with Smithsonian Experts on the organizations and people we will be working with. Also in our stew of creative researching we have confirmed sending the images to various experts in the fields of Science and Spirituality to yield a diverse present day perspective (list to be released on website) which includes notable Indigenous Leaders, Cutting edge Quantum Experts, Visionaries, Artists, Poets, and Experts from other Scientific fields. We will research Mr Da Silva Ramos and give due credit to his works and provide a detailed Introduction of his historic works in the Introduction of the republication. We will then proof and edit until we can print the fullest most pure representation of this cultural treasure. We will then gift all of our wonderful supporters from kickstarter their piece of the pie. Contributors will also receive updates from www.quetzalcoatlproject.com which will be the website dedicated to this work. Our goals are

1) To photograph all pages and images (to optimal resolution) individually.

2) We intend to pay someone or find volunteers to translate the Portuguese text base of the book.

3) Send the translation and photographed images to appropriate research parties, ie: colleges, museums, indigenous teachers, archeologists, etc., who may be interested in sharing their input and expertise.

4) Travel to Brazil, Lima, Peru and Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, and the U.S.A to consult with Indigenous Leaders on their perspective and interpretations of the glyphs and symbolism. (As I am a huge fan of Joseph Campbell's work.)

5) Gather researched feedback, images and translated text and republish. We also plan to video document the project, which i am able to manage.

6) Produce a detailed Video Documentary of the entire process from beginning to end, Interviews with Experts, and Adventures.
