My family choose to worship their god and donate offerings of food and money to priests - these are the people who in my eyes don't need it.

I choose to give food to people I see sleeping rough on the streets. People begging for loose change get an apple from me - these are the people who in my eyes need it.

My sister worships her god because she says it's easier than not believing.

I worship no god because I've not met him.

We challenge everything because we know that the rules other people follow don't apply to us

Yet we are the ones labelled as 'eccentric' at best.

I just want to let the world know that it's ok to do eccentric things. The more we do it, the more 'normal' it will be seen. So go out there and do whatever you like. Follow your heart, your instincts, whatever it is that guides you.

Make the world a better place

"Banish the word 'struggle' from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration. We are the ones we have been waiting for." — Hopi elders
