People demonstrate to draw attention to collective issues. The whole point of public display of disapproval (protests, rallies, strikes, sit ins, teach ins, Occupations) is to spotlight collective issues in hopes of having public opinion sway the making of policy.

I am not here to protest anything, for to be against something is not the modality in which I wish to operate. I am not here to place blame, submit accusations, retaliate, or mince ideology over the myriad issues plaguing humanity. Frankly, such circular behavior is exactly what has dug us into this trench, and we no longer have the energy to expend on such issues. Tear the system down?

Dearest Humankind
Dominant residents of my fecund body
I write to thee from the voice of all the trees
And all the leaves on the trees, their veins,
And the water within those veins, and the insects
And bacteria in them, and earth surrounding its roots.

And all organic matter, vital or not.
Take a second, a moment in your scheduled day

Fellow visionaries, dreamers, children of the revolution turned renaissance, comrades, constiutents, neighbors, family, and friends...

We are in the midst of something big!
We are finally in a position where the scale can be tilted in our favor, in favor of the planet, humanity, of love and life.

the tension
binding the heart
contracted and banished
spirits of the source
tore the twisting pain
out by its roots
suffocating suddenly ceases
pulsating valves
into freedom

the doorway to death
existence forgotten
a deep nothingness
looms heavy
on the other side
the black hole of
annhilitaion
the breeding grounds of
creation

energy so condensed
