Boo-Hoo Guru Shmu-ru

The Guru archetype in the world of spirituality has reached its limit. Around us we are witnessing the edge of the Guru, also known as the Hierophant. Many major "guru's" are re-thinking their approaches. As we enter a time for exploration, revolution, explosion, vast change, Aquarius, we are seeing that we can no longer look to the outside for our intimate internal truths. Instead, we can look to the ones who have experienced the inner journey for guidance, like tour guides in foreign countries. The guide can tell us how to get where we want to go, but we have to decide what our destination will be, and if we will allow ourselves to explore new ways of getting there, or if we even are totally committed to getting "there".
