HHHHHHOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!! Ok, I know its specifically in the Evolver code of conduct that we refrain from all caps online 'yelling'. However, I am just so very very happy to be back. Hard to say in what way, exactly, but just back.
Its been a long year, Evolvers. Talk about transparency, I try to keep it real. Let's see... a soul mate union, a move to a new region, a spore, a career shift, a pregnancy, a birth and a new baby, and I'd say its pretty much been a life-changing year. I did very little of it well, but I did it because my heart sensed joy no less, and that's worth a lot. That's what life is about, isn't it, facing fears and plunging into pleasure and joy?
Today is my 28th birthday, and I rejoice in a feeling of inner confidence. In this last year I gave myself real permission to just like what I like and be what I am. This year I give myself the gift of making joy my first priority. As I like to repeat often, our emotions are messages from our divine spirit to navigate our lives. All intuition really is is an inner compass. That simple. When joy is the priority, one finds ways to seek well-being in all solutions and visions. Joy is really a full-time job I would imagine.
I had the pleasure of interviewing fellow Evolvers Otis and Jenny Funkmeyer recently in 2011's first episode of The Empress Project. It was synchronistic, it was inspiring, it was joyful. Perhaps coming back means re-engaging with The Empress Project, podcasting again, Evolver(ing) again. Today, The Empress Project returns with a new home on Alterati.com counter culture podcast webstation.
Podcasting has been an incredible joy to do because it offers the chance to grow joy by spreading its message to those who are interested. My birthday wish is that you listen and enjoy with me, so that I may spread the joy I experience, so that you may share joy too. Joy joy joy joy joy joy joy!
As always, take good care of your spirits friends, and be so very well.
