I know, I know, affirmations seem soooo last decade, BUT, they really do work when we are seriously praying and opening up to the power of the Divine that is beyond our human selves. Our minds are like computers; they're programmable, de-programmable, and re-programmable, just ask any parent of a young child!

If you're looking for some new programming to download on your hard drive (AKA your brain), check these out! You can write them once a day, record them and listen to them through out your daily tasks, and even listen to them with headphones at night while you sleep for an added "subliminal message" effect! Sweet, huh???

Stinky Money Ideas?

Here's some ideas that smell good...

I release all resistance to money. Money is what I make it and I am good, therefore I make money a good thing! I now choose to see money as a dependable, loving, accepting, nurturing and wise friend. I release all forms of deprivation and financial punishment from my consciousness. I now give myself permission to enjoy the pleasures of life lovingly. Money is a beautiful form of the flow of Divine through my life. I let God into my bank account and invite the Divine to provide a life of pleasure for me.

Rancid Version of Sex?

Try this new dish out...

I make it safe for me to explore my sexuality and have a wonderful time doing it! I allow myself to explore with as many sexual roles and identities as I like. I love and celebrate sex as the lifeline of all creation on Earth. I view my sexuality as the place where I am most connected to the healthy natural forces of our planet. I am a sexual being at my core, and I embrace this facet of my Self. I release all limitations on my sexuality and I express my desires freely and lovingly. I give my Self permission to fully explore and enjoy my body.

Crud Growing Over Your Garden of Love?

This little potion of thoughts could help...

Love is the eternal foundation of all that is. Love helps me to experience freedom. I am always equal with my partner. I release all jealousy and insecurity and develop my own self-esteem. I am loving and worth loving. The more I open up to love, the safer I am in the world. I give myself permission to experience the ultimate bliss of intimate love. Love makes me feel good. I have access to all the love in the Universe. I have limitless amounts of love to give.

Friendship Ideas Gone a Little Stale?

These ones are fresh...

I am surrounded by loving, supportive, kind, generous and wise friends. All conflicts are resolved in my life and my friends and I enjoy harmony together. I am a good person who deserves love and support of good friends. My friends are remarkable. I can always trust and count on my friends. I enjoy close, comfortable, authentic relationships with everyone I meet. I have many wonderful friends. All of my friends are unique and special to me. All of my friends love me exactly as I am.

Remember, you are Spirit having a human experience. That means its not your job to do God's job, just God's job in human form. The best way to do this is to be responsible for your programming in that powerful hard drive that determines your thoughts, actions and behaviors! Be well, and, until next time, Namaste~

"Pray Continually"

"Be joyful always; Pray continually; Give thanks in all circumstances, for it is God's will for you in Jesus Christ." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

I realize that a lot of people have strong reactions against Christianity, but its prayers still "work" for me, --

-- I am saying, if not affirmations, there is always prayer, and prayer and faith have always been beloved.

We are innocent when we pray.

Ahhh, Thouhtful.

Readers,

Thoughtful sentiments. My outlook is this:

The world is a stage we play at. Some are out there living the characters they truly want to be, some are resenting the characters they truly want to be, and still others are trying to figure out which characters they truly want to be. I have no way of knowing what the divine explicitly says about all of this, and I have yet to meet anyone who does. All we have are the emotional messages we receive about the lives we are living, our intuition. I feel we have reached the end of the time of punishment, deprivation, and powerlessness, and, though we must never delude ourselves into thinking we are God, we must evolve into the knowing that we are fractals of the light that is God, that this light animates our entire life experience. The question lying underneath all of this, the Elephant sitting in the room, if you will, is: Are human beings innately of darkness or light? It is the answer to this question that will tell us if our desires for pleasure can truly be desires of purity and divine love. We could pour over evidence of either answer endlessly, however, I don't know that such an activity would bring us a clear answer, for, as we have seen in the last few hundred years or so, even evidence can be subjective. Thus, it must be an individual choice for us to make in the matter. For me, I feel the choice we have as we reach the edge of our ability to truly know God and ourselves, is the essence of how we will be able to evolve as a species. I believe there is great hope for us because I believe we are the divine incarnate, and we have gone as far as we need to go into the exploration of deprivation and shame. I believe our desires for pleasure, when examined and processed in healthy ways, are the divine pulls for life that exist within this light that makes us shine. As such, I do believe that we are each able to make the best choices for ourselves because when we do so, even if the experience we have as a result is not of the utmost benefit, it is certainly three things:

1. it is divinely orchestrated for reasons we may or may not understand (this is where faith comes in), and

2. it is LIFE and living life, this whole process of making choices, having outcomes and re-making choices in order to create anew. Sort of reminds me of the podcast I did on the myth of Persephone... and

3. Spiritual perfectionism, as exemplified by Christianity and the patriarchy, can lead to as much suffering as spiritual laziness, if not more. I believe neither are true paths, but the true path is being present, in touch with how we truly feel, and trusting the divine beauty within us to guide us as we get our egos out of the way and respond to life from the power of our hearts desire.

I know its long, but this happens to be one of my favorite subject matters... thank you so much for your comments and thoughtful responses!
Let me know what you think, I feel so strongly that these are open conversations we should all be having in our communities!

Namaste,

Ginnie Jester
