Orbo 2009 Launch

well know nothing about this..but on my way home today I was chatting to this guy who works in a physics research labatory and he said they are working on stuff with magnetics and energy as well...not really understood what he was explaining to me...but when asked whether it would improve things i.e. environmental issues etc...he said yes...but it will be a long way...as research nowadays gets shorter and shorter sighted...i.e. what used to be 12 years time frame is now a 3 year time frame and things change so quickly no one wants to get into long-term research and development...even if they say they do...but as long as they don't know where politics and laws will go in the next 50 years...but only the next 4 years..they will "hold back" with developments...(the same thing the CEO of BMW said approx 2 years ago about electric/hydrogen powered cars...i.e. it's all ready and go into production but they won't do anything until politics has sorted out a long-term way forward...)...great hmm???
