Yesterday, a mutilated dog was found in the town where I grew up. Still alive, the City council stepped in to help him. The people are up in arms, looking for a "monster" to punish him.
Having a dog myself, I felt sick most of the day. By evening, I knew what to do:
I wrote an e-mail to all my friends who still live there, asking them to LOVE the "monster" (and to stop calling him that). I've used many words to explain why...

Thanks for sharing this story. Many others would and usually do offer up their judgements freely. Indignation of the act is a reflection of the same energy being held within. Take a moment to see how the individual reaction couples well with the individual. By example the greatest, most vocal, reaction often comes from the ones who have yet to transcend the issue personally.
We serve our brothers well hen we raise above judgement in favour of choosing unconditional love.
Love is not real when conditions apply, for most people this truism leaves them essentially bereft of true love. If we understand oneness and the law of polarity we can learn to love and appreciate the brutal act of sadistic animal torture.

We do not choose, we " be ". In a true state of unconditional love we see no choice is necessary. We become love, we allow the moment of NOW to express the only truth there is, LOVE. Of course we should excuse Lennon and McCartney for using the word need. As one starts on the path to unconditional love one perceives that those who do not embrace love " need " to change. I feel, as a person comes closer to the truth of the ONE they understand the essence of polarity better. From the perspective of the ONE we can learn to release words like need which are biased toward illusion. As God, there truly is no need.
Great song though, and the message conveying the simplicity of change is beautiful.

Saying "Love is all we need" is implying that there is something other than Love! There is only Love! "Love is all we need" is a dualistic way of thinking. Anything you choose is also Love! It's all Love! That's unity consciousness. It's all One Love! I'm sure you know this, GodIAm, but the statement implies that there is other than Love, which is not truth. Do you get what I'm trying to say here?

Yes all manifest and unmanifest expression is Godly expression which, most certainly, can be defined as love. Moreover the expression of " need " is something which falls harshly on my ears. Need is illusionary, we are the Alpha and the Omega. In the playground we can experience duality with the understanding that it is really all just a dream.
With that said, I find it amusing to defend the subtle injustices of the lyrics. It bodes well for our future to see people, like you, who take the time to point at the illusion. It just may be, the pink elephant in the room is finally being seen. The reason I chose to share those lyrics Remi was to remind evolvers the simplicity of change is within not without.
I see Evolverites scurrying about, looking for ways to make great change. Although I applaud their desire, I strongly feel the real essence of change (sharing unconditional love with all) is being missed. The Beatles encapsulated in such a simple way my deepest desire.
