"Banish the word 'struggle' from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration. We are the ones we have been waiting for." — Hopi elders

About Me

Bio

A happily married father of two beautiful children, I have recently engaged a long ignored crisis. I am no longer able to participate in the current paradigm of living in the city, working in a cubicle, paying too much for my necessities and consuming more than my share. I have desired a split from this lifestyle for some time, but have found many distractions along my path to keep me tethered. Luckily I have the support of my wife in an endeavor to escape.

Our plan is to try to amass enough money to buy land and begin a new life of building with cob, gardening through permaculture, and raising our children in the most natural way possible. Currently we do not have the means to make this dream a reality, so we are seeking intentional communities willing to offer us stay until we can afford our own slice while educating ourselves on the reality of this lifestyle change in the meantime.

Skills and talents
I have a deep understanding of language, and like to write. I consider myself an easy going and witty person who enjoys trying to make people laugh. I strive to be the most patient and understanding father I can be, and try to be the best person I can. I am good with tools, and have a good understanding of auto mechanics. I am excellent with computers, but am much better with people. I have a high IQ and learn most things very quickly, but most of all, I have a stellar work ethic when it comes to the work I feel is worthy of the world.
