In my Political and Social Philosophy class this semester we read Leviathan by Thomas Hobbes. I was very intrigued when I came across Thomas Hobbes' simple definition of anger. Anger = Sudden Courage. I resonated with this when I read it and it remained on the back burner of my mind since.

I grew up in a fairly strict Catholic household, where I was forced to go to church every Sunday and I can remember ever since a young child all I really wanted to do when I grew up was be like Jesus. I wanted to go around and spread peace and love to all, especially those that needed it the most. Live as a minimalist and share that which I had with others.

I wrote this rap because I needed to channel my anger in a healthy way...i'm going to record my vocals as soon as i get rid of this cold :)

LEGO YOUR EGO!

its so fuckin easy to get lost in the confusion
so i meditate to elate my mind away from this illusion
I no longer give a shit about the things that i once did
with a new perspective i've elected to be done with the useless

I am aware.
I choose to evolve now.
However, much of the world has yet to come to this conclusion.
I will allow all souls to come to this conclusion in their own time through their own experience.
I must be patient despite the loneliness I may feel throughout this process of global transformation.
