Just some thoughts.

Do not deny the power in Friendships, Histories.

To Balance Absorption and Production in the path to creativity. Learning, absorption of other peoples' ideas in a somewhat backwards journey, you are covering ground already travelled. Though this is important, the nature of individual beings dictates for us to experience and share our experiences, we cannot do everything alone. To really progress humankind, we cannot experience alone and cannot always create alone. We are buit for co-existence.

The key to progress is appreciation. To appreciate what you create, to appreciate how you have reached where you are and to appreciate those around you and what they create. Competition is not necessary, I am happy to find out. Collaboration is, and if competition exists as a poison to reduce rather than to progress then leave it and find a balance instead. We need one another, it is no terrible thing.

Neither do we need to share everything. Communication should not be forced in this way, it should not be the formula for our character to create an existence through self presentation. The self should be a personal project, with the ability to achieve goals and a sense of satisfaction existing only for itself. Not a lonely project necessarily, but a personal one.

People serve different roles in each others' lives and this should come naturally. Do not try and force your purpose in another's life nor change to fill a role. These roles work on the levels of head, heart, soul. There does not have to exist predisposed roles such as Family, Couples. This may be idealistic, and sometimes in times of need, of course your role in their opinion and in their heart must be respected. But this only comes when there is an imbalance and a person is left unknowing and in need. This idealistic notion assumes that we all act as conscious beings.

The Ego comes into everything. We must keep a constant awareness of our existence in this framework, in order to be considerate and compassionate and to have confidence. But we should be able to forget this ego when it comes to allowing life to move freely ahead, when people become hooked on their position in things and their own Character in the World Play, it walks hand in hand with self criticism or self adoration, both of which involve others in a grading system. Judgement. This can lead to a false ellipsis of character construction and false fulfillment and false relations with others. Which then breeds holes in the lives of others and produces shrinking characters and overbearing characters. These two kinds of character are neither charmless and add to the variation that is the rainbow of society. But how I refer to them is more in their relationship to themselves than their effect on others. By shrinking I mean unable to make a mark in their own world, shy and self loathing and possessing a feeling of inferiority. And by overbearing I mean not dynamic and a colourful character but regarding themselves as 'better' than others.

There is no Better. No body is 'better' than another in these lives. The common phrase 'you're better than her/him' is received as a compliment but is actually a false creation of a non existent scale. You can of course be better at something, endeavours, but with this the question is raised... what is produced? If seeing someone 'do badly' enables another to realise their own self that much clearer, this action challenges the notion of better/worse. For whom?
