Sitting silent, perking up,
Drowning in a plastic cup,
I feign attention quietly
My mind racing wildly
With possible escapes from here.

Bored from being bored,
I tried, but then snored,
And all eyes on my slumber
Caused me to slowly lumber
Our the door, head hung in shame.

Writing down each though
I forget quit why I bought
The logic of the mirror;
Maybe it seemed clearer
In the days when I was young.

Peace
