Well guys, I've finally gotten off my ass and done something: I started a spore! Our first meeting happens later this month, and I'm excited to be taking the next step towards social evolution.

Zombie movies and t.v. shows are a dime a dozen these days. People seem obsessed with the idea that one day, humanity will be wiped out by a virus that turns people into the undead, creating the central theme of most zombie-killing theatre today.

I thought the truth was supposed to set us free! Instead, I sometimes wonder whether my own search for 'the way things really are' is leading me to higher levels of being and enlightenment or to higher levels of paranoia and depression.

Laughter is the best medicine. Sustained happiness and joy arise out of one's ability to cultivate a positive psychological environment within themselves. Through experiencing many traumas and up's and downs in my life, I have found that time again, the best way to cope with my 'issues' is to make a joke about them and share a laugh with someone.

I, like many others, have decided to sign up for the $10 monthly donation. I'm giving back not just because our administrators need to pay the bills, but also because I believe it will further motivate me to start my own evolution.

This thread is all about thinking about something, developing a way to get it done, and then actually have these thoughts manifest as actions that result in sustained self-improvement.

I write this entry because I am asking the community at large to help me figure this one out. How do we take these ideas, projects, ideals, and introduce them to people who have never heard of such mind-bending concepts?
