I am from Indiana, the heartland of the America. At 18, I moved to Israel, which some would say is the heartland of the world. Since then, I have been back and forth, and around the world.

Skills and talents

My background is in creative writing (poetry, fiction, etc.), though I have been working in arts journalism and am interested in documentary making and other technological mediums. I would love to be able to use my talents to purport something I care about and believe in. I have worked as a journalist for the Jerusalem Post and an editor for a number of creative journals and magazines. I have been exploring many alternative ideas for a few years, and am looking for people to learn from and collaborate with. I also make natural soaps and cosmetics, and am very interested in natural health and medicine.

What I'm Reading

Right now I am exploring some spiritual texts, including the stories of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, Aryeh Kaplan's translation of the Sefer Yetzirah (book of creation), and a book about Sufism. I also read a lot of poetry and fiction.
