"And now here is my secret, a very simple secret; it is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye."

~Antoine De Saint Exupery

Got the call several years ago in the misty moments of a Vancouver morning that we all truly are one. Now, I had thought this, but I hadn't really "known" it. Then I came across the biography of Eileen Caddy (founder of Findorn Foundation) where I read how she was stuck in a trailer, with an infant, when she heard a small voice say:

"Listen ! Put me first in everything, then shall all be ADDED unto you. Listen! Be at peace. Striving gets you nowhere. It simply leaves you exhausted and frustrated because you never seem to be nearer the goal. Just learn to be. When you have ceased striving, crawl into my loving arms like a weary child. Encircled in those arms, feel the peace, comfort and complete oneness with me. Feel yourself melt into me. Walk my way and do my will. Let me show you my wonders and glories. If you seek happiness in the wrong way, it cannot be found. Seek me first and find me. That is the simple answer. Put first things first, no matter what the cost or sacrifice. Love me with all your heart, and all your soul and all your mind."

Now, focusing in on that last sentence, I considered the idea that, "God is in everything and everywhere." And then it clicks.

Love EVERYTHING with all your heart, and all your soul and all your mind. And suddenly a whole bunch of other spiritual truths snap into place. Let go of results. Surrender to God. You create your world. Be grateful. Have no resistance to what is.

It Is Well with My Soul

When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

~Horatio G. Spafford

Peace

I too had the calling. I surrendered myself, felt the love and all is right in my world now. I am one with nature and God. What peace I feel now. All is well with my soul.
